Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you control it — in plain English, not legalese.
What we collect
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address. That's all we take from them.
Everything you create in Milestone — projects, milestones, tasks, notes — is stored securely on our servers so you can access it from any device.
We also keep a small amount of technical data: which devices have synced with your account, and when. This is used solely to keep sync working correctly.
What we don't do
- — We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.
- — We don't show ads, and we don't use your data for advertising.
- — We don't share your data with third parties, except where required by law.
- — We don't track your behaviour across the web.
How we use your data
We use your data to run Milestone — to show you your projects and tasks, keep your devices in sync, and send you account-related emails if something important comes up. That's it. Your content is yours; we don't read it or analyse it.
Your data is yours
You can export everything you've ever put into Milestone as a JSON file — go to Account → Export your data.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Security
All connections to Milestone are encrypted via HTTPS. Your data is stored on servers within the EU. We take reasonable steps to protect it, but no system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password for your Apple or Google account.
